What It’s About
This class is designed to help you better understand what’s driving your child’s behavior—and how to respond in ways that build connection, cooperation, and emotional regulation.
We’ll begin by exploring how ADHD affects brain development, executive functioning, and emotional responses. You’ll learn how these differences show up in everyday situations—like transitions, mealtime, or getting ready for bed—and why traditional discipline methods aren’t ideal.
Next, we’ll dive into science-backed strategies for supporting focus, reducing impulsivity, and helping children manage big feelings. These tools are grounded in behavior science and designed to be practical, flexible, and respectful of your child’s unique needs. You’ll walk away with ideas you can use right away—whether your child has a diagnosis or is showing signs of ADHD.
We’ll also talk about common triggers and how to reduce them, creating more ease throughout your day. Visual supports, calming tools, predictable routines, and connection-based approaches will all be covered to help make daily life feel more manageable.
Finally, we’ll look at ways to reframe difficult moments through a strengths-based lens—helping you see the creativity, sensitivity, and resilience that so often shine through in children with ADHD. This class is about equipping you with the insight and support you need to meet your child where they are, with confidence and compassion.
