Tantrums can feel overwhelming—for both you and your child. But they’re not just “bad behavior.” They’re a form of communication, especially for toddlers who are still learning how to express big feelings. This research-backed parenting class will help you make sense of the chaos, so you can respond with calm, clarity, and confidence.
In this compassionate, practical class, you’ll learn:
-
What’s really happening in your child’s brain and body during a meltdown
-
Why toddlers tantrum (it’s not manipulation!)
-
The science of emotional regulation
-
-
The difference between tantrums and meltdowns, and why it matters
-
How to stay calm and grounded—even when your child isn’t
-
Simple, evidence-based strategies to support your child before, during, and after big emotions
-
How to create a home environment that promotes connection and emotional safety
You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of what your child needs in those tough moments—and what you can do to support them without giving in, giving up, or burning out.
Whether you’re deep in the toddler years or preparing for what’s ahead, this class offers realistic tools that honor your child’s development and your role as a calm, confident guide.
