What It’s About
When families go through divorce or separation, it’s natural for children to experience confusion, big emotions, and uncertainty. This class is designed to support parents and caregivers who want to provide stability, consistency, and emotional safety during this time of transition.
We’ll explore how to approach co-parenting in a way that centers your child’s well-being, even when communication with the other parent feels challenging. You’ll learn practical tools for creating shared routines across two households, reducing conflict, and helping your child feel secure and connected.
The class will cover age-appropriate ways to talk with your child about divorce, how to handle common behavioral changes that may arise, and how to support your child in adjusting to new routines and environments. You’ll gain language you can use during difficult conversations and learn how to maintain a united front, even when parenting separately.
We’ll also look at how family transitions can uniquely affect neurodiverse children and how to support them with structure, predictability, and gentle communication.
Whether you’re early in your co-parenting journey or have been navigating it for a while, this class will offer guidance for creating calm, consistency, and connection in your child’s life. You’ll leave with clear strategies that reflect your values and promote your child’s resilience and sense of safety.
