What It’s About

Parenting can feel incredibly rewarding—and also incredibly confusing—especially when you’re trying to respond with patience, guide behavior gently, and hold boundaries that actually work. Positive Parenting Made Simple is designed to help make that process feel more clear, calm, and connected.

In this class, we’ll explore the foundations of positive, research-backed parenting strategies that support emotional development, strengthen relationships, and reduce power struggles. You’ll learn how to shift from reacting in the moment to responding with intention, even during meltdowns, refusals, or high-stress transitions.

We’ll cover how to create routines that support cooperation, use language that encourages positive behavior, and build connection without over-giving or burning out. You’ll gain insight into how children’s behavior communicates their needs—and how to meet those needs while still honoring your own.

This class will also offer guidance on setting boundaries that stick, using reinforcement in thoughtful ways, and avoiding common discipline traps that often lead to frustration or disconnection. Whether you’re navigating sibling dynamics, managing big emotions, or trying to help your child listen without constant reminders, you’ll walk away with tools you can use right away.

Above all, this class is about making parenting feel a little lighter—so you can focus less on trying to get it “right” and more on building a home environment that feels grounded, respectful, and connected.

Hear What Other Parents Have to Say

I recently attended one of Aligned Parenting Services free parenting seminars. The topic was understanding your child's love language. Jen's delivery and approach was really easy to understand and she gave us ideas and tools we could implement at home. It was definitely time well-spent. After the seminar, I better understood my child's love language (which is different from my own!) and started implementing more mommy and me time after school. I immediately noticed a difference in his behavior and listening skills through the afternoons and evenings, just from this tweak in our day and the ideas I got from Jen's seminar. I highly recommend Aligned Parenting Services if you're seeking ongoing behavioral support for you and your child or if you're looking for one-off ideas to make small changes in your home.

Jen is so thorough in her suggestions and gives the psychological explanations to go along with the instructions. She has such simple techniques that every parent can accomplish easily. The flow of the webinar was exceptional. Her examples are realistic and probably ones every parent experiences. I am excited to buy a timer to start using this tool to improve my day. Thank you Jen for a great class!

I attended a free Potty Training class provided by Jennifer. The class was fun and useful. She provides us a step-by-step guide about how to do the Potty Training. She then sent on the documents that she mentioned in her class to us in the following week. I definitely feel more confident about Potty Training now.
