What It’s About
Support Your Toddler’s Speech at Home is a parent-centered class designed to help you nurture your child’s communication skills in ways that feel natural, meaningful, and connected.
In this class, we’ll explore how speech and language emerge through everyday routines, and how small shifts in your interactions can make a big difference in your child’s ability to express themselves. You’ll learn what early communication looks like—beyond spoken words—and how to meet your child where they are developmentally.
We’ll cover practical strategies to encourage speech at home, including how to model language effectively, respond to your child’s cues, and create a rich environment for communication without adding pressure. You’ll learn how to use play, shared attention, and familiar routines as opportunities for connection and growth.
This class also touches on ways to support toddlers who may be communicating differently—such as children who are late talkers, neurodiverse, or experiencing speech delays—by offering inclusive tools that honor their individual strengths.
You’ll gain insight into how toddlers learn language, what you can do to support their progress, and how to build confidence as a communication partner. Whether your child is just beginning to babble or starting to put words together, this class offers guidance, reassurance, and doable strategies that fit into your daily life.
By the end, you’ll feel more equipped to support your toddler’s speech in ways that foster connection, reduce frustration, and celebrate progress at every stage.
